MEET THE ARTISTS
Our Story
We are a mother-daughter duo handcrafting small batch pottery out of our home studio in Minnesota. Both of us have always been very involved with equines as well as creative things. In September of 2025 we decided to combine these two passions, and dove headlong into this pottery business.
We chose to name it after our favorite sort of equines, old mules. Many senior equines have been in our care in the past, and a lot of our ceramic designs are inspired by the mules and donkeys we have known.
About Us

Trinity is a fulltime artist, mostly illustrating with watercolor and pen & ink outside of Old Mule Pottery. The mule in this photo was one of her personal senior mules that inspired the name.
Kym is part-time in the pottery, but she does a lot of the brunt work and kiln operation. She is a donkey expert, and has done many years of long-ear rescue work.
